Four days ago Dhare and I adopted two cats.  I wanted one, but at the shelter they had 2-for-1 deals on kittens…yes, that’s right.  A 2-for-1 cat bargain.  Once I got past the obscurity of it, the 2-for-1 deal actually came to our advantage as we brought home “Splat” and “Angel”.  Splat, now called Tucker and Seven (named after Seven of Nine from Star Trek Voyager..yeah!!!), who used to be Angel, are now permanant fixtures in our little studio here in Manhattan.  Seven sleeps all day and hisses at Tucker.  Tucker tries to kiss her and play.  They both exemplify the typical nocturnal habits of the feline…the entire night long…

But, even with the tumultuous combination of kitty paws chasing each other and everything in the apartment being knocked over, the cats are great and I’m happy to say that they are a cheerful addition!
