About a month ago, almost to the day, I quit World of Warcraft. May seem a little silly to some, or dumb, and call me a geek (that’s what I am!)…but this game ate up a year and a half of my life. And I finally walked away from it on May 3, 2009.
I had thought about quitting many times, as I am sure every WoW player thinks about at least once. But every time I got close, I would think “I can’t quit, what about my toon? What about my guild? What about all of the unreal objects that I have collected and become so attached to?” And then I would continue playing. And continue to lose those precious details around my real life. So this boss was a royal pain in the ass. Actually, she wasn’t really that bad, at least after the pull. Once you have the god awful PULL down…it’s like butter Gotta get that pull though! We sacrificed a noob.

Isla- Holy priest (This is my main toon on the server of Bladefist and my guild <Steel>)
<Steel> (which is kickass!) is a progression guild with many skilled players who are determined, persistent and super 1337 (1337 definition for all you noobs). And then it happened! On one oh-so-beautiful night after many many wipes, blood, sweat and tears, 25 very excited, very deserving people finally brought Sarth and his 3 Twilight Drakes down. It was definitely a badass Beowulf moment. Yah!! Second only to downing Malygos for the first time, this was the most exciting night ever for <Steel>!
