At my job it is part of our daily routine to ship out tons of packages.  Okay, maybe not tons, but we probably ship one a day on average.  And we ship Fedex.  Why, because Fedex is the best.  My point being, I have become an expert in the appearance of a Fedex box.

One of the places we do not ship to on a regular basis, because it is complicated, is Canada.  I love Canada, oh yes, I love it so much…but it is a royal pain in the arse to ship there from the US.  Customs is just, ugh.   But anyway, I was awaiting the return of a shipment from Canada when it arrived in what else, but a Fedex box!  And to my delight and amusement, the box was in French!  I’m sure it’s not nearly as exciting to you as it was for me, but you have to understand my love for Canada and the on going joke that everything there is in French.  Especially when they aren’t even near France. Yah, French colonization happened at some point, but um, that was a long time ago.

I’m just going to savor the moment of my happiness when I saw that Fedex box in French for the first time.

Today is the last day of JCK (Jewelers Circular Keystone, which is the biggest trade show for the jewelry industry) in Las Vegas.

We are just finishing up after being here for five days (some of us ten) and more than ready to leave the city of sin. I came, I tasted the sweet air, ate the greasy food, even the fruit dripped oil! And, yes, out of peer pressure I gambled…I lost $10 on my first round of roulette. That game sucks by the way, all based on chance. Why do I want to “bet” my money on the chance of losing? Exactly.

Each day I go to work and about a half hour in I start to get restless. It’s because I need my latte. My frigging Starbucks grande sugar free vanilla, soy latte. But it’s love and hate I have for this latte. For it makes my morning warm and fuzzy inside, but then…the inevitable happens. The evolution of my latte begins. Today I carefully described what happens to me over the course of my sugar free vanilla soy latte…

Hurray!  becknoel.com is finally up and running.  New layout?  Check.  Boring?  Check.  Next order of business…design new theme…  I’ll do that this weekend!  For now, enjoy the blog

So, the fire alarm just started going off in my dorm building and all I did was sit here.  And it’s still going off and I am still sitting here…….whats wrong with this picture???
